I have a 12 bolt housing that I was told came from a 71 Chevelle. The numbers on the axel tube are KDC 035 2.

The number on the back side of the center section, The passenger side is A261.

Can anyone tell me anything about this rear?

Somewhere on this sight there is a list of codes. I ndon'[t know where it is, but I think the '70 codes are the nly ones with a 3 digit prefix. I think KDC is a '70 code. But then A261 couild be Jan 26, '71.

035= rear assembled 35th day of year
2=2nd work shift
