I am no expert but I think this is correct CW = 3:31 Ratio 7 = 1967 12 = December 9 = 9th day b = Buffalo Plant

So that might be a for a `68 car then no?

Thanks
The year is not shown in the stamp. You must have misread the 7.
(MM/DD)
The year is shown in the center section casting date. Small raised
code on one of the axle support gussets. Look facing the cover opening at the 5 or 7 O'clock position.
Letter for month and numbers for day and last digit of year. Looks similar to this:

Ok,i`ll get the casting #s off the housing, the rear is suppost to be a `67 rear i just wanna make sure its not 68-72 rear,i bought one a few years back with the 7 casted where you show in the pic and it turned out it was the wider 68-72 rear.

Thanks
casting 3894939
3894939 is a '67 only casting number.

excellent so its a 67 thanks.
Just to be clear the year shown in the casting date is the year cast , not model year...For '67 model year only those cast Jan+ '67 will show a 7.

Thank you very much for the info and help.

Thanks
Ok the code on the front side to the left of the cover says K11G or 6 i cant make it out.

Thanks
I think the G is more like a 6 so i assume Nov.11 1966?

Thanks
Yes, Nov 11 '66, and so the stamped date is likely 1129 not 7129.

Cool thank you atleast i know now 100% its out of a `67 Chevelle, non of these codes say what engine was in this car does it?

Thanks
