Just saw your post. To clarify you want from the shock bolt to where the bellhousing meets and then to the firewall correct? I just pulled my motor but will get the firewall measurement tonight for you. There is approximately 3 inches between the engine and the firewall if that is what you are trying to figure out.

I posted this in the bodyshop section and got no responses. Maybe here I will do better.
I would realy appreciate if someone with a BB in a 67 could give me a couple of measurments.
#1 From the hole where the front shock comes through the frame to the
back of the engine.
#2 From the same hole to the firewall.
