Too much suspense!!! Lay the hood on and get one snap shot from far away.

Those rims sounds like they wheren't cheap. I'm curious to see what the stance will look like. I guess the tires aren't in yet?

The paint looks very well done.

You're right about the wheels. They aren't cheap. I actually just got the tires in today. They will be mounted tomorrow. NITTO 555 EXTREME 18" and 20". I want the hood on too! I still haven't got to see it on yet. We are finishing some minor engine cosmetic changes (billet pulleys, billet water neck, and mocking up a possible ram air system). As soon as I can have the fenders mounted, the hood will go on and I'll get some pics. Thanks for the compliments, the paint is House of Kolors Cinder Red Mettalic Base, Kandy Tangerine Candy Coat, Copper Pearl, and finally clear. Awesome in the sun. Thanks again.

Nice. Where did you get the Stinger Hood?
I actually had it hand made by a company that is no longer in business. It was a lot of work to get right. It is one piece and moulded underneath, not just a scoop of any kind. The hood latches and fit well during mock up. However, I paid $1000 to have it made, and have another $1000 in getting it where it is now. I think the visual effect will be worth it. Thanks for the compliment.

I just decided that I want to see the car in person, but only if it might make it chevelle-abration or a nearby show. There is no location in your profile. That's fine, but can you give us a region? Be my luck, you'll be up on some mountain in Canada. ;)

And don't go doing any burnouts with those tires... they aren't cheap either. :D

I'm going to try to make it to Chevelle-abration and I'll be at some shows in the south (Charlotte, Daytona Turkey Run, maybe Bristol Super Chevy). I live in Morgantown, WV (GO Mountaineers!). I'll fill out my profile better as well. Thanks for the advice on the burnouts, I want to soooo bad!

Sweet ride. Can't wait to see the final pics. I really dig the color.
Thanks. I am hoping to be finished by the end (cross my fingers) of January. I'll be posting an update with outside (sunlight) pics hopefully in the next week.
Thanks again,
Rich

Killer hardware, nice workmanship, and very tasty choices on cosmetics.

Really dig the Corvette Stinger style hood. I think it will set your car apart in a see of cowl induction hoods.

Now if I could find one for my 68. :D

Thank you very much. I really wanted something different. I'll post some more pics later today. I may be mounting my wheels and tires, and we are going to get the car out in the sunlight. I'm planning on buying a 70 SS 396 Convert. Chevelle, wait till you see the hood for it.
Thanks,
Rich

Rich, that is one nice 67. Hope to see you at some of the shows or at CB06. I really like that color. Keep us posted with more pictures when possible.
Thanks, and you will. That is, if it isn't sold by then. I have had A LOT of interest so far. I also have a twin to your car in my garage. It is a basketcase, but a 138 code 4 speed Granade Gold 67 SS. Your car is beautiful. I also bought my dad a 66 2 dr sedan Chevy II for fathers day last year, and we are getting ready to start on it soon. Thanks for the compliments and I'll keep the updates coming.

I was thinking a stinger hood would look great on my '75 Camaro. What a nice addition to your 'velle. Lovely.
Btw, how much is a paint job like that worth? Don't have to tell us if'n you don't want to.

I would really rather not say...sorry. I will say you will have at least $2000 - $3000 in just the paint and supplies alone. This would not include any disassembly, bodywork, prep, paint, or reassembly. I will be honest, it turned out to be very expensive. I agree with you that a stinger hood should look very nice on your Camaro. I like the idea of something different. Thanks for the compliments.
