I had big valves installed in a pair of big block closed chambered heads. While installing the seats a couple of the water jackets were hit. The builder said he sent them out to get repaired with ceramic and pressure tested. Are these heads still good?
Please let me know,
Thanks

The heads are oval port 820. From what I have heard from other sources is that the ceramic seal won't hold up to the pounding of a valve seat and will begin to leak. I'm checking for more info.
Thanks guys.
