im in the process of cloning my 1970 chevelle, and i cant seem to find excactly where to put the center console, is there a way to line this up, is there a pattern i can use i cant find info on this anywhere please advise

On mine there is indents in floor ,Almost like boltholes that werent punched at fac.for mount brackets.

The assembly manual will have the diagram for this.

Take your carpet, underlayment, and sound deadener off. The floor should have dents for where the bolts will go. I had no idea myself until I did this as preparation, and it was really easy to figure out. Once your shifter is in, the console can be set on it to find those mounting points.

The only hole that is easy to get slightly in the wrong place is the one that the cable goes through.
(I got mine off center just a little too)
