Maybe the mail man doesn't like you, Bill. We've gotten mail there at the new address with all kinds of street numbers on them... Somehow or another the mailman finds us. Don't make me come down there and make a personal pickup!

No stamp is reusable.
Some mailmen are like that. I'm not. I woud've delivered it!
Well....if they arent hit with that tag strip with ink and they havent been hit with the reported invisible ink that flags the stamp they are indeed reuseable in the sense it cannot be proven they were already used. That said, the post office can also get you on fraud if they caught you and felt inclined to do so.

So it can be done. It is done. But not an honest thing to do and if the post office catches it repeatedly you would get a call or visit from a postal inspector and we all know how much fun uncle same can be. Might replace your stamp with some kind of "scarlett letter" :D

Three years ago, I mailed my income tax papers on Apr 13---------with a check. Mailed it at a local one horse post office. It had 3 stamps on it. It was returned for insufficient postage--------------2 days AFTER Apr 15!!!
I went to the post office the next day and asked what was the problem. They had NO CLUE! But they sent it. Never heard a word from IRS (of course not, since I was sending money :D ).

I mailed this envelope Feb 28th...returned to me today.

OK...so if I can't reuse this stamp, what is so "Forever" about it??? :D
Must be in reference to the speed in which deliveries are made...

Y'all keep temptin' me with food and I'm liable to show up. Barbecue for lunch, and the Diner for supper. Hmmmm. Lemme go look at the road map....

Hope this ain't no mutton barbecue joint, Bill. I made the mistake of taking a guy from Owensboro, KY up on his offer for barbecue, and that's what we ended up gettin'. Not my idea of good barbecue. Not so sure it was even barbecue, even if that's what the feller called it. Except when I go to Texas, my idea of barbecue is pig!

Well, the mutton BBQ was in Kentucky, so that might explain some of it.... Hey what are you laughin' at, Liam? I heard that when asked about how they practice safe sex in Ireland, the fella said "We just paint red X's on the backs of the sheep that kick." Now that's funny right there... I don't care who you are! Apparently Ireland and Georgia have a LOT in common. I was always wondering why you and Bill get along so well!?!?!?

You guys are funny.

Who knew? I learn something all the time.

Mutton dates....red X on kicking sheep. All things I can personally use in life because I am not well traveled. Now I know what to look for and out for. Thank you gents :D

I believe this thread now holds the record for straying the farthest distance away from the original topic.
