Scott,
I may have said something that I didn't think was out of line. But, going back and reading the other posts, mine may have been out further than others. I know you don't "know" me and I honestly didn't mean any disrespect towards you. I simply forgot to add the smiley face icon and I didn't mean to upset you in any way. I guess that's the only clear way to show that I was kidding; but I left it out.

I was upset about my favorite College BB team losing today though. But, that had nothing to do with my post to you.

Please accept my apology and I would never intentionally insult or disrespect you in any way shape or form.

Wally

Wallace,
I took your reply with a different twist...
I thought your statement meant he was "bragging" about getting 4 mpg with his car.
I wish mine did that well!

Don't worry...Scott's a cool guy and we all around here know you're not a big meanie. ;) Just a big 'ol soft hearted Marine.

No problem on my end- it is hard to know how to take posts on the screen.

I apologize if I didn't respond to an email you sent me. I am not on as much as I 'd like to be, and I do miss some emails.

Sorry about your team losing.

Bill,
I try to be a tough guy, but not on here. :) There are too many guys here that know better than to think I'm a tough guy. Plus, they can look at my picture and tell that I'm a big teddy bear.

Scott,
Thanks for listening (reading) and it won't happen again. I'm sorry my team lost too, seems to be a trend for them now-a-days. :(

Hey Wally, not to "hijack" a post but I see in your family pic, you're in front of a '74 GTO (???). What's the story, is it yours and if so are you restoring it? P.S. Love your Chevelle.

Mike,
Yes, that's me and the family standing behind the GTO. I was in the process of restoring it, until I found my Chevelle. It needed a lot more work than the Chevelle did and I wanted the Chevelle more at the time. I sold it to a buddy of mine and used the money for the Chevelle. The car wasn't original anyway, I had a 455 in it and the back half was from a Ventura. The original front clip was from my GTO and the backhalf I found at a salvage yard for sale out by the road. :) It was a beast when I had it on the road. Unfortunately for me, I was rearended about a month after I brought it to NC from KY. I bought it from a real good friend of mine. He now own's a 66SS396, 4 speed car and is in the process of restoring it. He wanted $12,000 for it a couple of months ago, but it was out of my price range. :(

Thanks for the comment about my Chevelle. Your's is a very, very nice one as well. I love those wheels and I found a guy in VA that had a "original set". He wanted $225 for a rusted out, bent up and "unoriginal" set when I went to look at them. I informed him that the Camaro came with those wheels and they weren't necessarily "CHEVELLE ONLY" wheels. :)

USAF - I was a Master Technician on F-111s and A-10s. Retired early (disabled) but Uncle Sam gave me a full ride retirement and VA 100% disability. I would have stayed in for FREE I loved so much! Best thing I ever did and the best memories.
