I haven’t been satisfied with the PO‘s deck stripes and am repainting them. Base is gun metal gray and the stripes are white. I’m toying with the idea of running a thin (1/16-inch) red stripe along the outside edge. Have any members done something similar and/or have pics? I’ve searched and can’t find any. Thanks in advance.

I have the classic red paint/black stripes combo but for a while now, I've been thinking about having the stripes done in silver with some kind of "brushed stainless steel" look... I wonder if it's possible to have something done that'll be close to that... My painter says "yes"...

I’m going to draw up a few renditions to see how it looks. My son brought up a good point... where do you stop? Redline tires, red interior accents, etc?

Yeah, that would be nice...(y) As for "where to stop", well that depends on everyone's tastes! I often thought about red interior accents, in fact, I already have a red section on my steering wheel (but seats like the pictures below - not my car) would look great too!:)
... I never thought about red line tires and I am pretty sure that they're not made in my tire sizes.
