My 355 was running great on the streetfire HEI. I hooked the 6AL up, it's got a glitch.
I ran the 6AL with a Mallory Unilite on the same engine, worked great. It surges under acceleration and at cruise. The surges are somewhat intermittent, but it makes really great power when it's on. Not sure, but I think it's electrical. All my connections are good. I have NGK plugs at stock gap, maybe that is an issue.

Any help or experience with this would be appreciated.

750 DP, ported vortecs, 70 LT1 cam, headers. Super Victor. I can jet it up in a few minutes. I'm running 70/74 jets right now. I'll post the result. Thanks - good idea.

Try 72 primary and 80 secondary.

Put in 75 primaries, helped out a lot. The 72/80 split should work well. I'll try it....
I guess that multiple spark simply needed more fuel. Running well under WOT, still a little surging at part throttle/cruise.

Just a follow up - removed the Hyfire, misses/surging went away....

Then I promptly went out and wiped the M21 front bearing out pulling a hole shot.....

At least it's running right! The beehive springs really helped out a lot. I am beyond pleased with how it runs/screams!
