I recently purchased a MSD 6al box, the directions say not to put it in your glovebox. Of Course! this is where I would like to put it anyway to try to keep engine compartment as stock looking as possible. Has anyone out there ever done this? Or does anyone have any other good locations to mount it besides the firewall? Car is a 69 Chevelle with 396-375 4-speed

I mounted all my electical under my glove box. I mounted the MSD box onto the heater core box. DO NOT do this if you have a heater core in the car. My car does not have a core in it. So I didn't have to worry about drilling into it. I figured why have heat in a car I never drive during the winter....plus...the car weighs less now without it!!!

I mounted mine in my trunk, it works great. It is mounted on my drivers side fender well behind the seat. Just ran larger guage wire all around

I mounted mine on the inner fender liner behind the front headlights on the passenger side. You can't see it unless you know it is there. It gets plenty of cool air there, too.
