Switching from a Delphi 12.7:1 steering box to a Lee 14:1 box and going from an attached reservoir to a remote mount with a GM type 2 pump. I plan on mounting the reservoir on the radiator support. The reservoir has a 10AN return fitting on the bottom.

My question is..
Does it make a difference an how high I mount the reservoir? I have some leeway(?) in how high I can mount it, but not a lot.

The -10 fitting in the reservoir must be above the -10 fitting in the pump.

on my 66 the cap on the reservoir is even with the top of the rad support.
