soon im gonna start my resto on my 71velle. when it comes to trying and pick a motor cant make up my mind. I want at least 600hp. looked into crate 502's and 572's($10,000 and up!) id like to bring that number down. i could build one(maybe) but dunno. do the crate motors come with a warranty? any ideas???

Look up Wolfplace and mike1231, both members here, they will get you to your power levels for probably a better price than the crate engines. You know it will be a quality build that way, also.

I understand that several other members build great motors, but I didn't learn about them until after I bought my Shafiroff. I bought the UltraStreet 540 and have been VERY happy with it so far.
