I've been using it for years. I periodically use Back to Black on my D.D. It works well. Like any topical treatment, you will continue to use it once you start, as any dirt that gets on may have set in the thin residual barrier film. Hit it again and it cleans up easily.

The Cerakote is a Ceramic trim coating. On bleck faded plastic cladding it made look new again and hasn’t been touched up in 2 years.

Back to black won’t come close in durability.

Cerakote eh? Next time I'm at The Chemical Guys store I'll ask. I use ceramic once a season on my summer alloys & winter steelies. It just dissolves the tough stuff that rarely accumulates and really keeps any brake dust from setting. Durable for sure.

Chem guys doesn’t carry it. Got get it of Amazon. Cerakote is better known for their firearms coating.

If you want something to bring back the bright factory look to ANY FADED black PLASTIC. What
I use on my Silverado, = Faded door handles,,, Rear bumper faded plastic ,,, Plastic around door frames,,, Factory fender flares, OR any faded plastic. That looks GRAY and DULL,,,,,,AND this stuff lasts for MONTHS, Does not collect dirt, Does NOT wash off, I did my Silverado 3-4 months ago and it looks like I did it yesterday. The product is " KIWI " black shoe polish. It has small sponge on the lid, Bottom line , Its a liquid shoe polish, Wipe it on and it shines. Give it a try !

I remember when Chevy came out with the Avalanche, the plastics faded bad. GM had some similar stuff called Armadillo, or something along those lines. Looked great but didn't last if it saw sun very much.
