has anyone ever gone out to the monroe drags and if so are they worth it at all? i tried to find some info but i assume its open to anyone. it looks like they are pretty much every friday and its a little closer than bremerton or pacific. any info?

I've not been there...Frank, Ben, and a few others have.
Any chance to romp on the beast without fear of a ticket or some butt-head pulling out in front of you...is a good thing....

I've been several times and it's not a very good set up and the right turn as you are slowing down but it's still fun for me. I would race anywhere! I just want to race and you can get quite as few runs in. Good practice at the lights as well. Plus a tuning tool for your engine. The bonus,,,it's close.

I like monroe because its close... Wish it was a fully 1/8 mile & straight, but what can you do?

I'm sure i'll be up there a few times this year. They are running this friday, but its also when we have a big gettogether planned for bremerton...

The Doc second hand slicks are there for anyone who wants them as soon as I actually get a new set. The ones I have on the shelf will fit my chevelle but not the Nova.
