You can make anything happen if you try hard enough. I'm sure I could get something like this to work. Although you are probably looking at hacking up some wiring or de-pinning some wires from the comb.
DELAY OFF - a momentary +12V input is given (e.g. from a momentary switch), the relay energises and there is a delay before the relay de-energises. Note: If a continuous rather than momentary input signal is provided, the timer will commence when the signal is removed.
EDIT - The problem with this would be "run on".. after you make a real turn and the trigger is removed the delay would still be there.
The set up in my Tahoe is more like - trigger sets it for 5 seconds regardless, but after that it disingauges instantly.
