I just discovered a possible cause to the exhaust pulling into the car. I looked at photos of my last Chevelle and I'm missing the gasket on the bottom of the hood that mates to the cowl gasket. Anyone know who has these? The last 3 catalogs I looked at didnt' have one.

If you have one laying around in good shape, let me know what you want for it.

I replaced one about 3 years ago. In the Year One Catalog I have, it is on page 403 -in the body section. P/N CC5070A Description is : 1968-72 models rear of hood seal used in addition to CC507s and is attached to the bottom rear of the hood.

The catalog I have here at work is a couple years old, so it may be discontinued. Give them a call.

Thanks Rick! I thought I checked them, but I'll try again.

How's the TPI? I'm still thinking of that swap, but a new clutch and trans rebuild are first...too much going on!

I just recently boutght both from one of the aftermarket sources for my son's 68. As far as I know, all the aftermarket places stock them. I just shop for the best price.
