whats the minimum piston dome thickness for a N/A application. bbc 540 . probe 14031-033 39cc dome
best i can measure the dome is .300 thick. would like to mill .100-.120 off

As a general rule I want .200 N/A.
You could likely go a little thinner but I don't recommend it for large areas of the piston
Localized spots like the bottom of a valve notch or even the top of most domes can be a little thinner
