[70 SS 454]

pre 75 q-jet model numbers started with a 70...75 & later had a 1 prefixe (ie 170)

per doug roes book, the 170 carbs required metering rods that were different from the earlier rods (.080 shorter)

does anyone have or know where i can find the part numbers for these 2 different series of rods??

I believe Edelbrock has metering rods and jets for Q-jets in their catalog. However, I don't know if these are the size you are looking for. This might be a good place to start since Q-jet tuning parts are not the easiest to come by. I am pretty sure they are in there but not 100% sure since I cannot fing my catalog.
