Back in 2013 I bought my CTSV from them at the Indy event. I had a rep that found a couple of flaws that I would have never known or seen being an absentee bidder. Saved me about 7k on the car, but the car was actually really nice otherwise. Point is, don't trust them.

What a shame,Wall Street boy's ruined are hobby
x2 it kinda annoys me when I see or hear of any "investors" scooping up "collector" cars who will likely rope them off somewhere and will rarely drive them, if at all. Meanwhile these people as a group nationwide serve to drive up prices into the stratosphere. And television observers look to the pile of rust in their backyard that used to be a car, list them on sleeze bay for $10k. And then we wonder why kids in their teens and in their 20's can only afford Japanese economy cars to put those fart cans on and slap turbos on them.

I observed this car up close and personal. I saw enough that would have made me walk away from it at that kind of money.
A fool and his money are soon parted.

Dang, I'm sure my buddy Dave just down the street may be itching to wheel his LS6 for half a million. As a "numbers guy" I might advise him to do so! Plus, no doubt in my military mind Tommy would "bless" Balczerak's LS6. He's seen it and likely has already.

Duke , not so sure my lowly 325 hp 138- car is really appreciating like that , its the "crown jewels", aka highly collectibles that are ringing that market top bell.

WELCOME TO ARGENTINA FOLKS! in which the rich bury their wealth in "stuff" to hedge inflation. Maybe some of that effect going on here? Speculating, but that maybe part of it. I saw some big money Fords catch top buck on Saturday.

I'll double that shame.

ALTHOUGH, I may take some road trips to auto museums in the next few years, so the other side is i guess I wouldnt see them in guys' garages, unless it was a museum.

I was there on Saturday, this my third visit with couple buddies. As before everything continues to go up $! i noticed this year there not posting on cars that were sold the hammer price. I used to like going around to see what cars are going for on the spot while your axamining them, and make comments. Also this whole thing has become a rich man’s game. Used to be you saw few beaters someone picked up for a good deal, not anymore. anyway I’ll probably won’t be going anymore. ill still go to BJ cause it’s a same day thing for me.

I was there in Kissimmee and personally laid eyes on the million dollar 70 Judge RA IV convertible and later saw the LS6 convertible go across the auction block. The money these cars are fetching is insane. There was another 70 Judge RA IV convertible that was the twin to the million dollar car except it was blue and it went for half the money of the orange one.

Wow that's crazy. Yep you're right. I don't pay any attention to those cars at all. However, you must admit that 5,600 miles on any car that's 23 years old is not very common at all. Yeah it's still crazy that it sold for that much, but that sure isn't the typical Japanese car young guys hop up due to the very rare mileage.

While I was watching I never saw the chassis cam. Are they not using that anymore? They probably would only show the perfect ones anyway but I would like to see that LS6 underneath.
That chassis cam is only used on the Barrett Jackson auctions.

If you would look (( CLOSE )) at the LS-6 Rag top, It needs a lot of DETAIL WORK. Horns are not wired correct and way to much other ( NOT CORRECT ) stuff needs to be done. I would guess the buyer has no clue what a PRICY DETAILED LS-6 should look like, With all due respect, I think Mark Worman built this Chevy !
