I'm trying to order a master cylinder rebuild kit and it is asking me my bore size. Is it the outer diameter of the internal piston? Is the inside diameter of the hole that the piston sits in? Or is it the outside diameter of the sleeve the piston slids in? Because the dementions that they are asking is not matching up with any of the above I have, Help please......

Jeff - in the one post you mentioned MC, then you said caliper - Leo's comments were specific to the MC - you won't find that small of a pistion on the factory calipers. I'm not sure which you needed, but if its the MC, Napa has the rebuild kits for a 72, 1 1/8 MC - Item#: UP 1108 Price: $29.99 (1 1/8 = 1.125)

I used my dial caliper (I think that is what its called?) to measure, it is for my master cylinder. Thank you, I will go to Napa.
