will a single 30 amp relay be enough for this little powerhouse?

No. My fan pulls 38 amps (measured with a digital DC Amprobe). I run two 30 amp relays in parallel. There is also a high current relay available. I forget where they got them. I think it was a 75 amp or so.

Jimmy. It's all about longevity. I used a 30 amp Autozone "fog light" special piece. Lasted about 2 months then melted!

I think you napa piece will do just fine, If it goes, just do what I did and shor the fan to always be on.

38 amps makes for quite a pretty blue spark
