I was wondering if anyone with a serpentine system from March Performance can tell me if they have any problems being able to see the timing marks on the balancer.

I am considering purchasing either their Style Track system or their Ultra system for my 69, but it seems that they might cover up the balancer and timing marks making it difficult to see the timing marks. Is this true? Can anyone comment.

Thanks.

I just put a March Ultra midmount for the alternate and PW pump. Nope, wide open visibility. I know for a fact, because I just timed the car after assembling everything.

I also ditched the mechanical fan and got a set up from Don at Alumitech. Wow, that's cool. No more worrying about chopping my hands off when the motor is running.

To me it looks like the mid mount system is more open on the side than the Style Track system (http://www.marchperf.com/styletrack_bb.html)
or the Ultra Drive kit
(http://www.marchperf.com/pg58b.html)
where in both cases the accessories look to completely surround the timing marks. I am a bit worried.

Gibbons, isn't your system more open on the side.

Thank you so much for your help.
