70 Malibu has been in garage for 14 years. Bringing it back to driver status. Runs great. Tranny works great cold. When it parks for 10 or 15 min. and is still hot, wont shift out of low. Is tranny toast?

Modulator valve? Which transmission powerglide? TH350/400?

Vacuum modulator is on the pass side toward the front. There's a vacuum line connecting it to the intake manifold. Could be the rubber vacuum line leaks.

Car set for 13 years and transmission was dry when i got it. I am afraid the inner seals are all crumbled away, in which case it wont hold fluid around the gears
