Ummmm...... why is the drive-in speaker hung backwards?

And deduct for that silly air cleaner...

Otherwise - great looking ride indeed!

I love that red 70, My brother bought a new 70 Chevelle 350 2bbl black 2dr like that and it was a super sharp car like the OP's Chevelle. That car did the greatest power brake stands. We learned later the right rear axle seal was leaking so the brake on that side never worked. My older brother always wondered why his RR tire was bald all the time after I drove the car, LOL.

69's and 70's look outstanding in Malibu trim, with a slight nod to the 70 IMHO. It's a very clean, uncluttered look, with just the perfect amount of trim. As I get older, I almost prefer the look of a Malibu over an SS car.

69 COPO is the perfect look IMHO... I like the SS hood, blacked out grille, body color rockers, etc, but without any Malibu or SS badging.

Coming from a person that wouldn't buy a car unless it was a True SS from the factory I too found out owning a base Camaro or Malibu isn't that bad either. You also never get the question is it clone or a real SS.
