I have found that i always need punches of some kind.
VON was looking for distributor lube seals...well i think he is fixed up.
To make different size punches i use an old 12 point socket and a die grinder and i taper the inside of the socket , I will taper it to a sharp edge.
You can use different size sockets for different diameter punches... it is not hard to tailor them to the exact size
I started this when i needed some thick leather discs to put on top of my powder load in my .50 cal muzzleloader when shooting round balls.....shrinks the group tremendously.....I now have .45- .50-.54 cal punches
Another good punch is old steel rifle cartridges,,Brass works well also...I use the 7.62x39 round for punching holes for carb gaskets...usually get 1 or 2 holes punched then toss the shell.
I lay my parts to be punched on an old tree stump..works better than the wifes kitchen table
