Well, that's kind of confuseing. The M1 I know of is the M1 Grand which is a rifle, 30-06 I believe. Revolvers are not automatic.

M1 carbine shoots a 30 caliber shell. kinda looks like a 38 special but narrower, and shell is for semi auto instead of rimmed I think. Jim

Rugar did a long time ago. Their single action Black Hawk. Unless you have a reason to get one (lots of ammo) there are far superior cal. handguns out there.

Taurus currently manufactures their Raging 30, Stainless steel, in .30 Carbine.
It has a 10" barrel. Expect to pay around $600. for a new one at a dealer.

Does AMC or AMX, (whoever they are/were?), still sell the 30 cal. carbine auto revolver?

And the reason I like it is b/c even though it is noisy, the sucker is a fast, hard shooting, no kick, little round in a pistol!!

Plus cheap surplus ammo....

AMT used to make them but aren't in production any longer. I've read there were problems with reliable extraction.

I searched but couldn't find any for sale.

I was reading a Gun mag. last night waaaaaiiiiittttting for the WIFE to pick up just a FEEEEEW things at the grocery store last night AND I see where High Standard/AMT is still around and they still sell the Automag III in 30 cal. carbine.
