I see on chevellestuff it lists RPO option weights. It lists L35 w/Auto trans @402 lbs. Anyone know what the LS6 w/Auto is? I am researching what paperwork I have to try and determine what my car came with (no build sheet). I have the MSO (manufacturers statement of origin) and it shows 3738 lbs DCW. I cant seem to come to the correct number using the 402lb figure for the engine option and am wondering what it is for the LS6 option.

An L35 does NOT weigh 402 lbs.
More like 700 lbs. for a big block Chevy with cast iron heads

The weight quoted (402LBS) is in addition to the standard engine weight of the vehicle in question not the total weight of the engine. Here is the link to the info I was talking about:
