Looks good. Why the spacers?
Just needed that extra 1/4in to comfortably clear the zirks and and Steering box. Could have just used some washers but i think the spacers with the set size are a more consistent way of changing the height.

I'll have to look but I think this is the first 307 mount I've seen someone use. Perhaps that might be why it was necessary to use the spacers?

Definitely not the first to use 307 frame perches.
And for the spacers, I've read about many others using washers or 3/8 plates or something else. I just used something with a definable size and part number.
Also, if you look at the two frame perches, you would think that the non-307 perch was lower.

I am very surprised you needed the spacers looking at that picture. Did you try it with no spacers? The tie rods hit?

With out any spacers and using the old anchor SBC mounts the Zirks just hit the pan and the PS pully was too close to the steering box.

But something else to note. There are 2 different versions of the The ES poly mounts. Short & fat (3.1114g), and Tall & Narrow(3.1117R).Both ES poly mounts have the extra plate which is about 1/8in. Then there is over an inch of height difference between the 2 mounts.

Check out post #21.
72 Greenbrier used 307 perches and a spacer plate to clear the Zirks with his F-body pan.

Any more information from Toddoky on all the Holley part numbers, or updates a new products for the LSX engine re fit?
The part numbers related to the Hooker 1968-72 A-body swap system of components are all listed on the Holley website under that swap application; the development of the 64-67 components is on-going and those have not yet been released.
