Anyone out there use rear coil-overs to lower the car to the desired ride height? Instead of drop springs.
I've tried 2 sets of springs and nothing worked.

Problem with using coil overs on the A-body is that the shock mount on the rear end was not designed to support the weight of the car and they will break. You would need to reinforce the reareand shock mounts. If you want to be able to adjust the rear ride height one way is to find a 3rd or 4th gen f-body in the local pick-a-part and swipe the upper spring isolator and the rear springs. With the F-body rear spring it is only pigtailed on one end so you can trim the open end to the desired drop. Don't go to far in lowering the rear or you will cause a bad pinion angle.

BTW this should be a suspension thread.

Thanks Q-ship, for the info. I'm willing to give it a try I've spent close to $700.00 trying to get the rear exactly how I want it.
