Friday night I was coming home from Woodward when all of a sudden, I lost all of my gauge lights. The blinkers worked, the head/tail lights worked and my interior lights worked, just no gauges. I've replaced the fuse and still nothing. At the moment, I've removed the entire dash (gauge cluster and all) and I'm going to put all new bulbs in, they were getting dim anyway.

Can anyone offer some other suggestions for me to check out?

Try measuring the voltage on the fuse clips for the short dash fuse. I assume the one you changed out is the short one on the bottom. Scrape the clips a little and measure each side to ground. If none of the dash lamps are working you should see 12 volts on each side. This will tell you if a dirty fuse clip. If you don't see any voltage, problem is towards the headlight switch. If you voltage on both sides, problem is towards the dash lamps.
Might consider another signature line. That's ones kinda old and there are a few ladies around here.

I had a similar occurence last night. It was the fuse. An insulator had come off a connection and shorted the fuse, I replaced it and it immediately blew again. Make sure that you arent repeatedly blowing the fuse.

the fuse that I removed looked ok, but I ended up breaking the glass as I removed it. I put in another 10amp fuse and it doesn't seem to have blown.

if it a dirty terminal, kind of strange that it would happen just out of the blue like that.

Sometimes it does occur like that. If it occurs again, which it might, check the clips.

I was looking around at the fuses again last night and I didn't see that little 4amp fuse sitting right in the middle at the bottom. I took it out and it was blown. I put a new one it. I test my 'extra' gauges and they lit up. ARGH!! I went and torn my whole dash out thinking there was a problem in there and all it was is a stupid 4amp fuse! DOH!!!
Anyway, all my lights are back and running. Thanks for all the suggestions. I feel stupid now! but I managed to get new bulbs in anyway...
