Just recently after winter storage, my ElCamino shuts down everything electrical except the electric fans which are wired directly to the battery when the Engind reaches full operating temperature.
Everything shuts down - including lights - until the engine compartment cools.
Since everything (except the electric fan) is powered via the Fusible Link, could this somehow be the problem?
Sure! If the link is separated but just makes contact while it cold, when everything heats up the break gets big enough to stop electric flow. Makes sense to me. It's not hard to change them. Replace it and drive it for a while, see what happens.
