Hello, back in 1996 to 1997 my father sold his black 65' chevelle 2 door in Tracy, Ca and I am looking for it. It is probably not black anymore, but it had a big block in it and use to street race with it back then. I'm trying to find where it ended up to show my father or even purchase it again. That's all the information that I have, thanks!

Do you have any old documents with the VIN number? That can possibly be helpfull as you could do a google search with that.

Just a photo, all the pages were lost a long time ago during a move. Just a long shot looking unless I find another photo with at least the license plate.

Does your father remember what company he had it insured with. They may have the VIN. Other than that one k ind of has to follow the trail. Take that photo to some car shows in the last area you saw it and show it to some older Chevelle guys at the show. Ask them if they remember seeing that car back 20 years ago. Or maybe even sooner.

There is a Facebook Group that they help to locate old musclecars that were sold etc. They have had some good luck finding peoples old cars...... might be an avenue for you....

Another thing you can do is just get a 65 and recreate the car he had. That would be the easiest. You can even paint it black. Lots of good father and son time in that.
