Hello I'm looking for a good quailty electric tach to connect to a hei, would like one as small as possible. Any idea's? Dave

I am using an Sunpro Tach II 2", got it at Advanced for about $38 if I remember correctly . Works good, needle doesn't bounce around like the Auto Gage that I have in my truck.

I wasn't happy with the Sunpro. Bought an Autometer 1497, it measures 2 1/16". I mounted it in my 85 Elcamino with HEI in the right side of my dash bezel. I paid $92 for it from Schucks who price matched the Summit catalog price less 5%.

Hi Steve I already have other Autometer gauges in the car, I haven't seen their 21/16" tach I'll check it out. What's wrong with the Sunpro? I want a high quality tach. Thanks Dave
