Anyone used the Lokar column shift kit? The one I am looking at is the cable operated one that has the bracket that bolts to the column. The factory stuff will not work since installing the 6.0/4L80. Where we located everything was great for engine/pan/ac placement but the trans got moved back about three inches. I was hoping to use the factory stuff and just lengthen the rod that goes to the arm on the trans but this will not work. The rod will be at such an angle that it will hit the firewall/floor area and not allow you to shift the trans into gear.
