I have a 70 chevelle malibu that i am cloning into an SS, and the fenders that i have did not have any emblems on them. I am asking if anyone knows of any measurements to install the SS emblems or of a template to drill holes to mount them, or is this just a calibrated eyeball kind of thing, any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Russell

ok heres the problem I have the same book that came out of, but the problem is that the book does not state where the reference point is that you measure from... i have just about lived by that book during my restoration. i see the 20 and the +5 but it doesent give a reference to measure from, like how far from the rear edge and the bottom.

ok-i'm assuming that all of this refers to oem/nos letters. is there any way i can get some sort of diagram showing where the letters themselves are positioned without consideration of the mounting holes?

I used re-pop letters with this diagram with no problems.
