Just wondering, ... how many from "not well known" cities, .. have heard it mentioned in the lyrics of a rock song? It surprised the heck out of me, way back, ... when Tom Petty's "Free Falling" came out. "It's a long day, living in Reseda". I was raised in Reseda Ca, just a ho hum city, in the San Fernando Valley.

Seems like there are a lot more country and early rock songs about places, not so much in the last 20 years or so.

Numerous Kentucky towns and cities mentioned in Country and Bluegrass songs, but this thread ain't about that, is it?
