Finally decided to adjust my headlights in the dark after installing all new M&H wiring a year ago. Have never had the car out at night. To my surprise, all the lights including the dash have a very slight flicker while the car is running.
All the wiring has been replaced with M&H. Have a new NAPA battery and a rebuilt (original) 37 Amp alternator. Replaced all the correct ground straps. Reading about 14.5 with a hand voltmeter across the battery.
Any ideas before I pester M&H?

Thanks,
John

If you're still running the external mechanical regulator, what you are seeing is the cycling of the regulator contacts. You can replace it with a Wells electronic regulator which is a direct plug-in replacement.

Jerry,
I wondered about the NOS regulator after I posted the question. Thanks for the tip about the Wells regulator. Will check around and maybe buy one.

By the way, the Wells number is VR715. Good luck!
