hey everyone, I recently joined this forum to learn more about what kind of chevelles/muslce cars you folks all drive!!! I own a 72 chevelle ss 454 w/ an m-22 and 12bolt posi track, #65 orange flame (a rare color). some sick options including console, cowl induction, ss454 group (z15) etc. This car is kick a** I would put pictures on but it's currently in the shop getting a FULL tune up and new springs in the back. I love this beauty and am currently looking for another car, this time a more classic tuned down easy car, perhaps a stripped down dodge duster or something in the lines on a 74 runner 340. I have no Idea, but enough about me, I want to hear about your rides! (give me advice on what my next classic car should be, this chevelle is too good to drive everday, and boy have i had fun with it in the back seat during those high school years

LOL FlatTop.......I thought I was special with a 65 SS and a 70 Cougar with 38k original miles ...that will be next on my list to bring some life into....Actually that 351 fires RIGHT NOW ...on plugs, wires, vacuum hoses that were on it when it was parked in 1980.:D :D :D

Hello Alek,
Welcome!Do you have any pictures of your car?I would love to see it.My husband also has an orange flame '72.It's restoration has been a year and a half in the making but is now almost complete. It's getting a 454.I have a '71 malibu 350 that is mostly origional and unrestored. It has had only 1 repaint. That was done shortly after I bought it in 1996 to change the color from #43 lime green to black w/white stripes.I also replaced the flat hood with a 2" cowl, changed the wheels and added duel exhaust at that time.Other than these things and a little chrome under the hood it's a pretty origional car.I love it!
