Here are some photos of my '68 SS 396 L34 that I have owned for over 30 years now. I bought this from the original owner back in 1989 when I lived in the once great state of California. I paid 4k for it with around 46k original miles.
It was completely unmolested when I purchased it. It ran and drove pretty good, but the engine needed a rebuild due to the cam lobes being worn down some. It is a factory ermine white color with TH400, factory a/c, remote driver mirror, bench seat and column shift. It came with the 3.07 rear, but now has a 3.55 ratio. The engine and rear end is original to the vehicle. I completely stripped the car down to a bare shell and did a frame on restoration. It retains all original sheetmetal except for the front fenders which had some rust at the lower portions. I replaced them in 1990 with original GM parts that I purchased at the local dealership. The dash pad and door panels are original and are in very good condition. I would like to thank all the Team Chevelle members who have helped me out along the way when I had questions. I am very happy to be a member of this great group of people.
