Just took the 71 out after not cranking it for a month. Both the front and rear, left and right turn signals work on the outside of the car, but the green indicator on the dash only works for the right side, the left side of the dash shows nothing. Any ideas?

Lots of fun to work on. Need to remove dash pad, then if you're lucky, it'll just be the bulb.

You can't just reach around from under the dash and pull the bulb holder out like all the other years? I'm not familiar with the '71 cluster.

Easier to pull dash pad on 70-72, they come right off after removing the screws along the front edge of the dash, then slide it toward you and up. Clips sometimes fall off, I stick them back on with a little silicone to hold them in place. Jim.

Thanks guys. Looks like I will be working on that this weekend. Can you get to the bulbs with just the dash off? Also, what bulbs will I need for back there? I'll stop at Autozone and pick them up this week.

You can get the turn signal dash bulbs out on round gauges without taking apart the dash but it is not easy. It takes small person with flexable arms to do it. If your a big guy, you have to take it apart.
