Until a year ago, I had a split bench from an 80 el dorado in my 72. I had to make some mount spacers because the floors are different, but generally it was pretty easy. The proportions are right for an elky too.
I have a 85 Cadillac 60/40 split im my 71 Elky. Was unable to use the the original seat tracks that have the electric motors to make it power because they were too tall. Had to go the junk yard and find manual seat tracks and have them cut down so the seat wasn't so high. The seats from around these years are all the same fo all GM's under the seat cover and foam, which is good, but they have thicker seat bottoms than original Elky seats and the cars they came from are front wheel drive which have smaller humps. Even by cutting down the tracks it sits higher than the original but its a small price to pay for comfort.
