just wondering what are the larger CI small blocks around here?

who is running the biggest small block and what power numbers and times are you guys getting with them??

with today's aftermarket blocks there should be some impressive combos around..

thanks!!

450 ci SBC here. We'll see what it does on the dyno sometime in the near future hopefully.

Shooting for 900+ HP naturally aspirated. We'll see.

Re: 21st century Large CID small blocks

I was back in MD this summer visiting some friends. While at the local car gathering I spotted a nice '69 Camaro with a 472 cube SB. I had to look twice and asked the owner if he got the numbers mixed up as I had seen many 427 small blocks. But this was a 472 cube small block from Shafiroff. It had a single Dominator on a sheet metal intake...it looked nice and sounded better.

Here's a link to the Shafiroff 472. I had no idea you could make 'em that big.

nothing wrong with SB under 400ci for sure.. there are some killer 355 and 383 out there.. i was just thinking with todays after market blocks there must be some killer combos out here..

ive always considered myself a SB guy. had several BB over the years but always loved running my SB against a BB and beating them..didnt happen to often but it was fun...

WOW!! My 500hp 412 is way to small.

Up to a 500" small block!! I have seen a lot of changes in my life, but this is just to cool.
