JA is for a 396/325hp manual trans car. Do you have a pic of the stamp?

The motor is out in the shop , it's newly rebuilt , never been decked and looks great

As mentioned JA would be 396/325 hp manual. I think KD would be the l78 for manual and KF for auto.

I found JAD in one of my manuals, but it is nowhere near 1969.
