Did the 1970 396/375 hp Chevelle come with headers? If so, what kind?

Did the car have an aluminum water neck, painted silver, or a cast iron neck painted orange? I've seen all kinds of combo's, but need "the scoop."

They are the same ex. manifolds as the 69's. Intakes for LS-6 and the L-78 are the same low rise type in 70. Pretty much the same engine other than cubic inches.

Also LS-6 and L-78 engines had to come with Smog equipent on the exhaust manifolds.Regardless with where sold.
There is one difference to the 1970 over the 1967-69 exhaust manifolds. In 1970 the first exhuast runner on the drivers side has a Flat locating pad.Only on this runner. All the rest have a nipple on them.
In 1971-72 they also have the flat runner there, but the Part# that is cast on them is different.
Thus the drivers side exhaust manifold for a 1970 Chevelle B/B is a one year only part.
