Did anyone else see this story? 300 kids break into this guys home and trash it, all the while posting photos online of the party....the owner makes a website listing the names of the punks....so now the parents are threatening to sue HIM!!! Unbelievable. My dad would have marched me over there with his foot in my a$$ and made me both apologize and help clean up.

Pretty close, his son thew a party in his dad's house while he wasn't there. but yes that is ridiculous the man can write whatever he wants on the internet. Much less the parents have the audacity to be angry just because he puts there name on the internet when there kids have done that to his home. But I guess that makes sense parents who raise kids to vandalize houses would obviously be made when someone actually try's to hold them responsible. Haha if that made any sense.

The news articles I have read said the kids broke in. They also spray painted walls. His website just used the kid's own pics that they posted themselves online.

Weather they were invited or broke in they had no rite to trash the place or desecrate the headstone. We did some stupid stuff through high school but would never stretch it that far, to the point of disrespect.
There's another driving force here, the need for the little angels to keep their respective noses clean through their adolescence. Every little mark will come back to bite their arses, nothing's sacred. College recruiters have far too much access into the private lives that are made public via social media.

Agreed as do employers. I saw a thing awhile back some girl posted a bunch of stuff griping about her boss and her job....he saw it and told her not to come back. People don't think before they post their whole life online.

Apparently the parents are worried it will ruin their kid's chances at getting into college.
Yeah, so they'll have a chance to do the same thing to their frat houses and sorority houses.

Any reputable university should turn them away, but there aren't many reputable universities left these days.

Don't worry. More than likely these kids will get a stern talking to and their brand new cars will be taken away for a week.
My father would have beaten the living crap out of me if I would have been involved in something like this.
Parents are an equal part of the problem. They should be given the choice of having their little angels prosecuted to the full extent of the law or pay to send their kid to one of those wilderness camps for troubled kids. A lesson I would think they wouldn't soon forget!!!!!

saw a little blurb on the 9 o'clock news tonight that the house was actually in foreclosure and that he hasn't been there for a long time, so the locals thought the place was just abandoned... also something about people being suspicious of the motivations for setting up the paypal account to help raise money to fix the damage so paypal closed it down...

could be there is more to this story- not that any of that justifies breaking into a house and trashing it...

Here's a thought, if you don't know the whole story, don't comment!
Well based on that statement only the 300 kids involved in this crime should comment because they were the only ones at the scene at the time. The comments here are based on the story by the associated press.
I guess the local police shouldn't comment,the parents shouldn't comment,and even the home owner shouldn't comment.:clonk:
