On my 70 Chevelle LS5, my kickdown doesn't work. Everything is new except the electric switch on TH400. Is it possible to have a problem with this switch ? and how to check it and change it ?

I would check for voltage at the at the switch and out of the switch.Or check for voltage down at the plug at the trans

I have the same problem. I have 12v at the tranny terminal with the throttle switch closed but no kickdown. I'm assuming that the switch inside the tranny is bad or absent.
