Hi all,

Yes, another newby to Chevelles, so please excuse my ignorance!

I am installing a new carb in my 1966 Malibu. The car has a 1970 350 and TH350 tranny.

What is the correct procedure for adjustment of the kickdown cable at the carburator?

Others will correct me if Im wrong.

If I remember correctly you want to put the carb to full trottle and pull the cable all the way out and tighten it up where it is on the carb. So when you go full throttle the trans knows your at full throttle.
