For a '67 Chevelle: How are the Kick Panels removed for installing insulation? NPD catalog shows the panel insulation as "blank".
Shouldn't there be a cut out for the air vents?
Remove sill plate, trim screws around vent and any other trim screws holding it on. Pull it towards the rear of the car and it should come out. You have to trim your insulation to fit around the vent. The insulation is cut for an A/C car.

Speaking of this, do you adhere that insulation to the kick panels? Or is it just held in place when you screw the kick panel back in? If it is adhered, what product should you use?
I didn't need to glue mine, don't really see a need the carpet keeps a nice seal it was fairly difficult to put in the little screw with the carpet in there
