When did Kansas move the Partial vin from the Passenger side stamp pad to the
Oil filter area.
My 69 Chevelle is a end of Sept 68 Build date and the suffix is there..T0913HR
Which is a LM1 car,but I see no signs of the vin stamping and haven't got the car
Up in the air to check oil filter area.
Is there somewhere else it could be stamped?
Alternator is right in the way of the pad on the passenger side block.
Doesn't appear to have been decked because Engine code is very easy to read?
Thanks

Highly doubtful. I have never heard of any Kansas built 69 Chevelles being stamped anywhere EXCEPT on the rough cast area near the oil filter. It is certainly possible that the CON VIN is not stamped at all on the block, as my wife had a 69 Impala convertible with 327 that was that way......the Powerglide trans had the stamp, but the engine block did not.
